How to Help
Northwest Animal Companions of Oregon depends on the generosity of our community to shelter and care for our animals. We have a variety of opportunities for people who want to help us make a difference.
Volunteer Opportunities
We depend on volunteers for a variety of tasks:
- Cleaning cages, feeding/watering cats at Petsmart (both morning and evening shifts needed)
- Help with displaying cats and dogs on the weekends at Petsmart
- Fostering kittens
- Foster homes for special needs cats and dogs
Please email us at volunteer@nwac-oregon.org if you are interested in donating some of your time.
Donations
We are always in need of the following items
- Cat/dog food
- Cat litter
- Toys
- Small bedding materials, such as baby-sized quilts
- Cleaning supplies, such as paper towels, disinfectent cleaners
You may drop any of these items off at our Beaverton Petsmart location.
Vet Techs Needed
We are currently in need of two vet techs to administer shots at our monthly shots clinic.

Why Spay and Neuter
Spaying and neutering helps keep the unwanted animal population down and also contributes to a happier and healthier life for your pets.
